I Got it 🙂
Today, I took the time to really connect with myself, to look deeper within and find the answer to the focus point for my private client. The company section and its direction are clear, and it seemed relatively easy to identify where I’m making an impact, but I needed to find a niche or a focus for my private clientele.
So, when I was having this internal conversation, asking myself, What is it… I must admit, my mind was a bit blank. But then, as I was heading out, there it was—a simple thought (this is usually how ideas come to me; a thought just pops into my head). The word was Contrasts.
I’ve often told myself that I’m a total genius, and the boss agrees (that’s me!). I mean, this is brilliant. This is life. To design with the contrasts of life in mind. The opposites—the brutal truth, the rawness, the naturalness, the realness—against the superficiality, the glamour, the elegance, the refined design.
It’s about taking the best parts of both worlds. The raw and the polished. The gritty and the glamorous. The minimalist and the extravagant. Not as competing forces, but as equal and necessary counterparts. This approach leaves no room for just one side to take over, but instead creates a dynamic balance that reflects the complexity of life itself.
And when I think about multisensory design—the way it engages all the senses and impacts people on a deeper, cellular level—it becomes even more clear. Life isn’t just about seeing or hearing—it’s about feeling deeply. Touching the soul. When you bring contrasts into the experience, it’s not just visual or auditory. It’s the tactile, the scents, the textures. The emotional and the physical. It affects people at a primal level, in a way that is felt in their bones.
By embracing contrast, we show that life is not just one thing—it’s both. And in that space between, the magic happens. It allows people to see, feel, and experience both at the same time, and find equilibrium in the design, understanding that both elements are not only present but essential in shaping our reality.
What I’m saying is, there’s no escape—you get both. Life doesn’t work in extremes; it thrives in the space where contradictions meet and coexist. And that’s what I want my work to represent: a reflection of that duality, a celebration of the unexpected harmony that arises when opposites come together.
This isn’t just design; this is an experience that touches every sense and every part of us. It’s about making people feel something—deeply and authentically. It’s about creating an environment where contrasts don’t clash—they complement and elevate, giving space for the complexity and richness of life to be felt, seen, and lived. It’s that balance—the yin and yang—that makes everything come alive. I mean I am geniusly excited 🙂Â
