Is deliberately impacting senses manipulation?
I’m not suggesting that anything should be justified in the name of the ‘greater good.’ Rest assured, I’m not planning any coups or insurrection here—I promise! But let’s look at this from a different angle—like a manifestation. The life you’re living now is your own manifestation. This is what you’ve created for yourself so far, based on your own beliefs, patterns, and thoughts.
So, if we consciously start to manifest our lives—deliberately choosing our thoughts, beliefs, and the experiences we want to have—does that mean we’re manipulating things? I don’t think so.
We do this to improve our lives, to have better experiences, and to become a better version of ourselves.
So, if we can deliberately impact the senses to help people feel better, to process information better, to be more present, and to experience things more fully and deeply, is that manipulation? No.
Think about it: Would you rather wake up to the jarring sound of a loud alarm clock, or to one that gently fills the room with a fresh scent, mimics the soft light of a sunrise, and plays the sound of birds singing? One that wakes you up smoothly and calmly, setting the tone for a more peaceful start to your day. Which one would you choose? Which one would help you start your day in a better way?
Deliberately impacting our senses is simply taking control of our lives in a positive, intentional way. It’s about enhancing our lives, not manipulating them, and ultimately creating the best version of ourselves.
